I live in Michigan, He lives in Chicago, IL. The court order says that He shall enjoy his parenting time at his home in Chicago one weekend/month with the meeting place being in St.Joseph Michigan. It then says that every other weekend he can take her for a weekend to his parents house in Kalamazoo with our meeting place being in Grand Rapids, MI. For thanksgiving, it says that he gets her Wed.-Sat. with our meeting place being in St. Joseph MI. That is our meeeting place for when she goes to chicago, but does that means she goes to Chicago for thanksgiving or can he take her anywhere that he chooses? He wants to bring her somewhere else for the entire visitation that isn't his house or his parents house that was mentioned in our order. He has done this before where he will be at his home in Chicago and take her to Detroit which is almost 5 hours from where he lives, and he's taken her to someone's for a whole weekend who lives near Wisconsin border line and also, he's taken her to Grand Haven, MI. Can he just take here all over and spend the nights with her at these places or does he have to do it at his home? Thanks for any help. I just don't like now knowing where my daughter is. And does the St.Joseph meeting place for tonight mean she should be in Chicago. Thanks a lot. This is new to us. She is 10 years old next month and he just started this visitation this year....
